You could have informed us that there was a 3 day waiting period to receive our funds, and you could have told us early on that we would both have to be present at closing. These two surprises cost us about $560 in extra property taxes.

The lack of communication I received once the appraisal issue came up with was frustrating. It seemed like I only received updates if I reached out to them first. The customer should not be leading the way in the communication front.

Overall, really good experience. The reason I did not give "perfect" marks was because I received my closing documents late on the night prior to closing. Some items had changed and no explanation was provided until only an hour or two before the closing. I know there is always a "fire drill" of some sort before a closing, but this could have been avoided if closing docs were sent our sooner.

Due to delays in and by loan processing, and nothing to do with me or my prior disclosures, I had to continually send new and updated financial information. It really was a not pleasant experience. End of day, I got what I bargained for, so it ended well. Getting there was not what I bargained for, though.
