We we misled to believe that we could accomplish a cash out refinance of our existing construction loan. We trusted New American funding to be subject matter experts in our quest to convert our construction loan to a mortgage. We were forthright and transparent throughout the entire process. Had we had known that we could not have accomplished the cash out refinance we could have closed sooner, saving us money on the interest only payments we were making as well as the interest rate we ended up locking into.
