I think if we had received a printed document outlining the process, it would have been a much better experience. We got caught off guard with a couple of things, like the gift from my brother. We were told by the loan processor to send it to the title company. However, the lawyer's paralegal said that is not how it is done in Illinois. And that one process was very complicated.
