I stated right from the beginning that I did not want insurance and taxes in escrow. Brook said it was mandatory. Once I found another lender that listened to me and processed a loan with no escrow, same interest rate, same term and payment I wanted, then Brook said he would try to get that. I went with the other lender and closed my loan
