Better communication. I had to send several emails for status updates. We also had an extremely long lien review process. It literally took over two weeks, to rule out any liens tied to our name. Also, we were scheduled for closing when our notary cancelled and we were never notified. They then scheduled someone to come out later that night, but that notary also cancelled. We were able to close the following day, but then had to wait almost a week after our 3 day recession for payment. I had to follow up for payment status and was told something was missed before they finally issued payment. Extremely long process. I was told we should close in 4 weeks, but it was actually almost 2 months.
