The process was long but good up until the end. I was given a closing date which changed multiple times, it is expected that things happen and closing dates need to be rescheduled, however not 3 to 4 times. When you keep telling your employer you need to leave for a closing that doesn't happen, and arrangements are made at work on your behalf and they have to keep rearranging schedules, they tend start to get a little upset as mine did. I conveyed this and the response I received was blame it on the lender, I do not find that to be an acceptable response or one that an employer would even find acceptable. As like you they have a business to run, and it is not their problem that my lending company couldn't get it together. A solution would be to not be tell your customer they are closing or schedule a closing until your company is 100% ready and have a clear to close.

Jim was easy to talk to. He helped me greatly with the numbers so I could make an informed decision. He really made me feel like he was on my side.

Although we seemed to changed loan officers half way through the process and some of the paperwork was submitted multiple times, I still feel like the company as a whole went above and beyond to get us approved and were very open and responsive at each step during the process.

I was dealing with an underwriter that couldn't even read a check stub properly. I had to take time to explain to the underwriters how to read a check stub. Read that again... I had to explain to the underwriters how to read a check stub. The underwriter also questioned why I got a check after I completed working at one job. The underwriters should know that if you leave a job voluntarily that you don't get your last check when you leave. I was also rather insulted when they asked a 40 year construction professional how I was going to transition to an office job. And the woke questions about motivation to move? Ridiculous. And then they almost pulled the funding because the realtor f*cked up. No, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Thank you

It would have been even better if we were kept informed of the loan status more often…
