My experience with New American Funding is always very pleasant, however, I do feel in this instance, my lender did not know enough about mortgage option's. For instance, due to my loan being a high cost loan, with BPMI, etc, I requested a LPMI, knowing this would offset costs, and resolve the issue. I was advised that NAF did not do LPMI's. Only after insisting that my mortgage be structured as an LPMI, was my loan approved, but by this time the interest rate increased costing me extra money!

Once loan processor started there were some item requests that were duplicates of information already provided and redundant. Some requests were questions that no reason was given so that answer provided would be complete and understood. These type of things seemed to the process.
