The loan process took 2 1/2 weeks longer than expected, so closing was delayed multiple times. I wish I was told that the type of loan my buyer got would take longer at the beginning, so I could have explained the process to both the Buyer and Seller. Bob was communicative with me and my buyer but I'm still not sure why it took so long in underwriting.

Don't tell the customer that you have this great awesome rate & do all the recordings because unless the boss approves it it don't mean nothing...Also make sure that the customer knows that all rates must be locked in by end on business day with bosses approval.

The goal was to lower my interest rate from a very high one I was stocked with with U.S. bank for about 15 years which I have tried to work with U.S. bank severally to modify to no avail as U.S. Bank intentionally refused to do anything. I achieved my goal even as there were some reservations with some funds distribution and charges called 'other fees" not well defined or explained as to what they were for. Overall, with my new interest rate, I stand to save a lot and I am satisfied.
