A bit more communication. There was never a discussion of type of loan and terms, a lot of assumptions. And then the loan terms were never reviewed with us. It was just emailed for to sign everything.

Everything was done very well except some confusion concerning the escrow account and interest rate. It all worked out fine though.

For the most part it was great. He went out of his way to streamline the process for us as much as possible. However, we did have to submit a LOT of documents, often at short notice, that the lender wound up not even needing for our particular loan because we used a co-signer and the lender decided to rely entirely upon his income and assets instead of ours. Had I known I wouldn't need to spend hour upon hour digging up all of our financial documents from the start, it would have been helpful.

Chanessa did great! We had trouble getting everything closed and at the end I had to get her manager on board which was the key. It just seemed like we were at a stand point with the loan. We had to do two extensions at 400 per extension in which my buyer had to pay for due to TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. All in all we got it done, but I am not sure if I would reccomend the company again due to my buyer and I's experience.

Well, I am quite disappointed with a closing that finally occured 8 months after I wrote the contract, BUT, because we got off to a bad start with the former loan officer, Deborah, along with the assistance of Todd, (loan processor) help put the loan file back together. NOW, as far as the underwriter, I thought this person made a complex loan file with self-employed buyers much more difficult & frankly, after 50 years of holding a Broker's license in the State of Texas, I do NOT plan to ever participate in doing a FHA loan ever again. Frankly, from this day forward, I plan to ONLY write CASH, Conventional, or Owner Finance contracts. Sorry, that is the way I feel about FHA. To be perfectly honest, when you get a loan insured by FHA, & you charge a usurious Mortgage Insurance Premium along with excessive points, I will stay the heck away from FHA loans in the future. I hope this explains in detail my true feeling.
