If you are new to this whole thing you should shop around, be knowledgeable as much as possible. Understand the mortgage process and what kind of benefits each financial institution gives you. Interest rates and get pre-approved first before you shop around for your home so that you don't over spend. If I did not do this I would not have found New American Funding & Cathy La Rock's team. Cathy was very helpful and she answered our questions day and night. The process was difficult since I had many things to deal with. But Cathy did her best to advise what route to take and gave me the list of things needed to succeed. I would definitely tell new home buyers to go to her since she is very informative and straight forward.
