American Funding is one of the few mortgage company's that handles trailers. Our loan officer was Senior Mortgage Banker, Anthony Ciccati, who answered all of our emails and helped us every step of the way. We found him to be quite honest.

Shay was very helpful and responsive to all my inquiries. I just wish there would of been a better communication between her and the loan processor. The refinance process took longer than expected.

Refinance experience was mostly good. The only part which kept me from giving a 5 star rating was between transition from signing to funding the new loan. We were told by the refi team not to make a payment on the current mortgage as that will be taken care of at closing. Well the time in between took several weeks and during this time I received harrassing texts, emails, and phone calls from collections.

They got me a mortgage loan to consolidate debt where no one else would , at least not until I raised my score by catching up, and the cost of it was much higher closing costs, it will all be worth it when I pay off the loan in <5 years, but otherwise it would have been dicey, so I gotta stay on my game! Really big, helpful team, had people helping me get everything done every step of the way.
