Robert did a great job and was always willing to talk with me over the phone, even if we had already gone over it prior. I do have one complaint though, not against Robert but the fact that I was told that American would match what a competitor was offering and that if they did I would commit to them. The matching was off by 300, which felt a little bit like a bait and switch. Overall though the experience was good.

The process was time consuming. I have had many friends and co-workers recently refinance with other companies and it was a much quicker process. We filled out our loan application on August 17th and closed on October 27th. Seventy two days from start to finish. I realize that mortgage companies are swamped because interest rates are low, but this was excessive. Lyndsey was fairly communicative and Jennifer (our loan processor) was helpful. Be prepared to wait if you choose NAF.
