Kevin stayed in touch with me through the whole mortgage experience. He did a great job.. I believe the loan processor could have done a little, better job by actually sending me an .xls or .pdf listing from the beginning of the process.. Yes, she sent me information via email and text but with a 12 hour a day job in a government classified area, I was unable to put all the things required together in a timely manner. I did like the fact that NAF had someone (Amanda) locating a real estate agent to assist in finding a home. Also, NAF had a partnership with MATIC, who found a home insurance company. Thirdly, i received calls checking on what they could do for me after the home was purchased. One of items I was upset with, was the fact the closing date continued to be pushed back, which just helped NAF get more points. These delays cost me dearly. I was set for a $26k to $28k closing and it went up to $31.9k.... even though my debt to income ratio wasn't a problem, the closing price continued to remove more cash than I expected and most went to NAF points. Even though these issues occurred, I still look forward to refinancing with NAF in the future... All in all, not knowing the true, mortgage process, I still rate NAF an 8 because they do have a good way of operating and it seems they have a good partnership with other entities to help the new, home buyer. Once again, my hat is off to Kevin... I bugged him alot with emails and texts and he always answered, whether it was work days or a weekend. Mark Maffucci
