There were some snags, but I am pleased that everything worked out well in the end. I know there is a steep learning curve for the international element of my particular case. Since I know that Zack and his team have now had this experience and learning with me, I would definitely recommend them to others buying remotely from abroad. The team really moved and hustled to get things done!

I had a unique financial situation and limited budget, and Zack and Michael really went to bat at figuring out a way to make it work and ultimately got me into my first home! My only bit of feedback is that some kind of checklist for documents would be handy. Sometimes it felt like I was being asked to come up with docs right away that I didn't know I'd need to provide so therefore didn't have immediate access to, and also I wasn't given a clear explanation as to why some of the docs were needed

Have to communicate in advance a check-list of all of the documents and files required - underwriter asked for things that should be known under the law, for example, requirements for withdraw from a 401k. Not a big issue, just annoying back and forth on the documents.
