The process took very long... over 2 months. I was asked to provide things and fill out forms that were not required when I first financed with a larger bank. I felt that the service professionals helping me were knowledgeable and helpful, but the overall process was not quick and resources such as technology seem inadequate.

My experience was much better than OK, but not at the top, meaning "Great." There was a mistake make in the initial CD that made me cautious. Compared to other experiences I've had, the communications wasn't as clear as they could have been. I appreciate refinancing at a lower rate -- but I did have to keep pursuing questions to get answers I could understand. Yes, I would recommend New American financing, but encourage new customers to be vigilant in checking documents.
