Over all it was a good experience. However, there was a lack of emphasis on security of PII. There were many requests to send documents over e-mail, and I have the feeling any documents I uploaded to the secure link I was provided was e-mailed or faxed between New American and its partner companies. A number of the closing documents I had to fill out at closing even though they had all the necessary information making closing longer. Also the title company uncovered a 17 year old loan on the title that no other title company did even though I had refinanced multiple times since. This might be good on them, however I didn't get much advice quickly on how to resolve it.
