Better communication when new documents are sent to sign. A phone call, text, or email with a brief description of the reason for the new document to be signed before the document is sent would be greatly appreciated and would appear more transparent and honest. My experience was that I would receive an email with documents and a request for signature. I would carefully review my previously signed documents to try to understand the changes and then reach out to the Loan Officer or assistance for further explanation. Sometimes the explanation was hard to understand and the underlying tone of the response was "Just sign the document so that we can keep moving forward with the loan process." While I understand the desire to keep the process moving forward I also value the need for myself to completely understand what I am signing and WHY I am signing it.
