Overall very good. Only exception was the last-minute revelation that I would need to put 25% down vs. 20%. I specifically went with New American because they said I would be able to put 20% down.

They made the process quick and expediant but there was a lot we didn't understand but they did their best to explain it and get things finalized for me it would have been more efficient if the initial contact person was there throughout the entire process

Becky and her team were extremely responsive and easy to work with. Becky was always on call and willing to quickly get us a new loan estimate spreadsheet and help with any questions we had. Her team was also really helpful when it came to getting docs together and even were willing to pursue workarounds when there were some roadblocks.
