The other person handling our loan, Tori, is terrible at customer service. I attempted around 5 phone calls and she never answered the phone or returned my phone calls. On more than one occasion she requested the same document multiple times, and I would respond to her request with something along the lines of “I already sent you that document, is there something else you needed”. Her response was that I shouldn’t be rude if we are going to work together, which was very unprofessional. If you don’t believe me go back and review the email correspondence. She is either overworked, under trained, or just incapable of doing her job professionally. I am not a “Karen”, and I know underwriters have to follow protocols to complete the loan process. At the same time it felt like she didn’t want to get the loan process completed as soon as possible as a way to punish us for irritating her. That was highlighted by the fact she sent over the closing documents late in the afternoon and didn’t bother to notify my agent or us. She knew we were under a time crunch and didn’t seem to care that this added an extra day of costs. Wes was professional and helpful throughout, and returned my calls in a timely manner.

I was new to buying a new home, so I had no idea what all to do to prepare for sending the money on closing day. I wish he would have told me to prepare for it ahead of time because i felt like i was scrambling by the up until closing time. Which was very stressful. Otherwise I really enjoyed working with Josh, he was very helpful with all my questions I had. I just wish I had more direction in the end.
