Better communication within your departments. It was not Jason's fault but there was a hang-up and it was not brought to anyone's attention which delay our refi. Jason was on top of it once he found out. I was not very impress with Shawn. Shawn told me multiple times that escrow was not going to wire an amount of funds that was to go to my daughter's escrow account. After I was told by Jason that it was not a problem. My main reason to refi was to fund my daughter's escrow account so she could buy her first home. Eventually my daughter's escrow officer reached out directly to the escrow company, and magically I was able to wire the funds directly to her escrow. I was also not very impress that both Jason and Shawn were not available during crunch time. I was so happy that Adam was able to assist. Adam Young is the main reason why we are still with NAF. Adam did a stellar job in getting the house financed the first time. He replied in promptly even when he was not out loan officer this time around. He is truly an asset to your company. Jason was very personable and professional. I just don't know where the disconnect happened this time. If I did not follow up with Jason, our loan would still be seating at underwriting. I would suggest a better communication between all internal departments. Susan

I think Scott did a good job for the most part handling our application process. I was disappointed that 2 days before closing the communication stopped and we were forced to push back our closing. I also did not appreciate the vast difference in the first closing disclosure ($417 cash to close) we received then the final one ($5619 cash to close). As for Alyssa, she stopped communicating with us at around 5pm on Friday before a Monday close and she never reached back out except to tell us what our cash to close would be. Not to mention the fact that our original loan officer Khalid Walid gave me a pre-approval that ended up no being valid and when he left and my file was transferred, no one from NAF bothered to reach out to let me know what was happening with my loan application. Overall I feel like the ball was dropped more than once during this process and it caused unnecessary stress for my husband and I. At the end of the day it all worked out but the experience overall could have been MUCH better.
