It was a very long and complicated experience for many reasons not having anything to do with Jeff. He was always there to answer my questions.

I think waiting on all the verifications, running to get this paperwork and that then waiting for approval all these things create unnecessary anxiety and that should be changed. Everything that needs to be gathered should all be turned in at once for one approval. I felt at times like I was on a rollercoaster. Divah, kept her cool and helped to manage mine at times. I put trust in her and she did not sway, she stayed the course and got me through the process and I am grateful to her.

He was very personable. He had great advice and was up front with all the positives and negatives of the process. He even helped for future financial support. He let us control the outcome, but guided us to what would help us feel most comfortable.

Chris was extremely professional and very experienced. I had problems with other lenders trying to get me approved but never had any problems with Chris .I would highly recommend new American funding and Chris for any mortgage loans

Could have been more upfront on the minimum amount of loan I had to take. My original request was for $15,000 and payoff Discover Home Loans a total of approximately $50,000 for some not totally clear reason the minimum was $62,000. Also the prime reason I wanted the extra $15,000 was to payoff Synovus Greenskye. I was hoping to have the funds sent to me and I would repay immediately digitally. However Ms Kim told me that payment would be by a mailed check and I see from the closing documents which would be sent to me for onward mailing to Greenskye. Not a very satisfactory solution considering the fact (that I told Ms. Kim) I would be subject to a $4,100 penalty if Greenskye did not receive the $15,000 payment by the drop dead date of Feb. 16th. Also in the documents the closing company absolves themselves of any liability for delayed payments etc. Because of the possible penalty I certainly would not have any reason to not pay this debt off. If I had been allowed to handle this myself it would have been paid off no later than tomorrow (Jan.30th).
