We are happy with the rate, but dissatisfied with the loan process. We got two different reports of the status of our loan, one said we had turned in all the documents, while the other loan officer said that we needed more documents. It was confusing at times. Even, the last day when we signed closing documents we were informed that the loan could not fund because we were short funds, so we really didn't skip a payment. I'd recommend that only one person communicates with the customer.

1st There was confusion and misunderstanding at the beginning about the rate and discount points. I had to fight to explain why it was different than what I was quoted on Credit Karma. This was very frustrating and also the reason I’d be very selective on who I’d recommend - I don’t feel comfortable recommending my friends and family if they are looking for a 100% smooth process. 2nd issue was how long it took to go through the whole process, but this is a minor issue as the APR was worth it.
