Bjorn did a great job and kept me very informed. However, at the very last minute something fell apaprt that may not be his fault. All that I can say is that the title company said they were not impressed with communication at the end and the Buyers were not happy at all with how numbers changed several times without explanation and were unclear way too late in the process. So I can't say things went great when my people ultimately were not happy in the end.

Got the loan closed, but had to jump thru many unnecessary hoops, and too often unable to reach for questions... Plus took too long. Still not sure of payment arrangements

My loan process took 3 months. Read that again. 3 months! For a "refinance" I guess. I owned my home, with no current mortgage , it really shouldn't have been this difficult to take out a few thousand dollars to consolidate my debt, on a property that is worth nearly half a million dollars. From the very beginning of this process my goal was to consolidate my debt and take out additional funding for a home improvement. This was discussed many times with the loan processor . There was confusion on the type of work I was having done, don't know why. I had to jump through so many extra unnecess hoops for the job bid. Every time something was asked of me I immediately provided what I needed to provide and it would take a week if not more to hear anything back . I felt like the communication was not there with Michelle, I constantly had to be the one reaching out for updates and I never felt like what underwriting wanted was clearly relaid to me. The after 3 months of feeling hopeless in this process I'm told that with this type of loan they dont actually provide funding for home improvements. Like what???? How did we get this far without anyone knowing that?? Bailey was nice and I'm happy he was able to help me consolidate my debt. Michelle on the other hand could have done a much better job with communication and clearly explaining what underwriting wanted. She should have regularly kept me up to date, especially considering how long the process was taking. She was nice but in my opinion she did not do her job properly. I was just given the run around the entire time. And in the end I didn't actually get what I when through this whole process to get.

I worked with Alvaro on one of my sales transactions, and his communication skills were great. He kept me informed throughout the process and we closed in a timely manner. I will be recommending him to work with my customers.

Review by Derek Scheller for Loni Drake

Completed transaction on May 10, 2025

I thought Loni was great and easy to work with, the start of the process was super simple. However the hand off to Meghann was rough, several times I reached out just to get OOOs back emails for covering contacts where incorrect. I had all my requested docs in or signed within an hour of any ask, was years ahead on my loan payments for the original loan, never missed or had a late payment, had collateral to cover double the refi loan value in liquid accounts, my annual salary is almost 4 times the refi value, the house appraised for nearly 130k more then the refi value, and almost 100k more then the initial loan value. All signs would point to this being a slam dunk for the bank I am refi-ing to a higher interest rate 6.9% vs the 3% I originally had, I could have paid off the old loan myself and taken my buisiness elsewhere but I instead chose to take on more debt thru the same institution because otherwise my experience has been great. But missing the close by over 10 days with all the numbers being what they were was extremely frusterating, getting little to know response about progress or even a hey we aren't going to hit this close was infuriating. As someone attempting to refi for construction costs and having a bunch of other things lined up around closing Meghann inability to communicate with me in any meaningful way effected my ability to communicate with others involved in the project and now has pushed back start dates by 3 weeks which is far from ideal for me.
