Donald Cook was excellent with following up. Kept up with me for a whole year. After doing comparisons in pricing and process, in addition to ratings and BBB reviews I decided to go with NAF. They were very thorough and communicated every step of the way to funding. I liked their willingness to negotiate rates and discuss how numbers were arrived at. This made me comfortable with my decision.

They got me a mortgage loan to consolidate debt where no one else would , at least not until I raised my score by catching up, and the cost of it was much higher closing costs, it will all be worth it when I pay off the loan in <5 years, but otherwise it would have been dicey, so I gotta stay on my game! Really big, helpful team, had people helping me get everything done every step of the way.

It was a good experience working with New American Funding. The loan officer who initiated my loan process was a great person. He communicated with me in regular interval. However, the service needs to be improved with regards to the process at the later stage. For example, I had no idea about when my loan will be processed exactly, they asked for the same documents that I had already sent before, and the communication from their end started to phase out towards the end. More, importantly, I saw a change in my PMI amount while I was signing the contract with the notary. The issue is, it was not reflected in my final loan disclosure. The company needs to work in this area.

title was good overall. however even at closing we weren't given any of the wire transfer information when we showed up so we left thinking we were all good until hours later i got as phone call saying they had not got the closing funds...we weren't given any information on whom to wire it to. quite odd on th closing part but we got it doe over the phone. they could def tweak up the closing services for sure...overall Caroline was available when I needed her and helped out the most.

Mr. Maiale was great- made it easy and look simple. But once it moved out of his hand to the others- it was a slow process with me needing to ask for updates. Also, Not knowing when exactly or approximately it will close- didn't make it feel good. Overall a good deal a 4 to 4.5 star job but not the best compared to the previous mortgage as well as a refinance experience I have had in the past.
