The only thing that made it less than great was the length of time it took from first contact to final paperwork with attorney. It took nearly 3 months to close this refinance. There was something coming up constantly that kept pushing the closing date out. Items we needed to work on and get to them. Becky and Tonya were both great at letting us know if the loan wasn't going to close so we could start working on the next items to correct, obtain or pay. Most of my discontent was having to wait. I'm not the most patient person.

Given the quick turnaround from loan approval to purchasing and closing, the Moseley team worked well together to make sure everything was signed and submitted. While some pivots had to be made throughout the process, there was communication of next steps which I appreciated. I do recommend providing clients with a checklist of upcoming actions items and list of documents that are typically requested/needed so there's preparation time and quicker submittals. As a first time home buyer, I would've loved having that to know what's expected of me and most time sensitive.

It was solid experience. Jay was a little delayed in replying to some of my initial correspondance which almost made me look for an alternative, but he was quite supportive and informative overall. Stephanie was responsive and thorough! Overall it was a pretty painless experience, and would be open to leveraging new american again in the future.
