everything was going smooth with great communication and answers when asked were fast. The only major problem was 2 weeks before closing we were told that an additional $30K was required for the pool hold back. That is a large sum to ask for after everything is done and completed. We asked a number of people about a pool hold back. Title company, pool company, other home owners and even other mortgage companies. None of them heard of a 1 1/2 percent hold back. It left us scrambling.
