The lender used was terrible and jerked us around throughout the process. This did impact our experience in many ways.

Anthony and other employees at Cross Country were very responsive to my questions and answered in a timely manner. They were very transparent about the rates and services they offered. Rates were good for what the current market is now. They were flexible in some regards as well. The loan lock in deadline was 4 days before closing and they just extended it to closing. I was able to close on time as well. If there was one thing I did not like about my experience, I didn't like I had to commit to the company before seeing the loan estimate. It should be expected that someone sees a few estimates for a mortgage. They just impressed me with their service and rates enough to make me decide to commit to them. Happy about my experience overall

Jeff Rach acted entitled and couldn't understand that I got paid bi weekly and was asking for paychecks that didn't exist. He didn't know that my fiancee sas tenant in common had passed away in 2014. After me telling this to another one of his colleagues. We kept repeating what I had said or sent documents of before. Then they wanted me to pay an extra $1000 to lock my rate when I just gave them $1000 to lower the rate! I told them there would be no more money.
