We were told we would have 2 months of no mortgage and it turned out to be only 1 month. Every time we were told we had everything needed into the company, they turned around and needed something else. That happened multiple times. This whole process was very stressful and took way too long.

Carlos himself was responsive to our questions and was helpful in getting our refi done. The issue I had is the underwriting process and the endless amount of requests for information (so trivial as in page numbers not being clear on documents!), the constant requests for more information and more backup documents (to the point of being extreme). It was by far not a pleasant experience with North American Funding and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Carlos was a great loan officer whenever we had questions he had an answer for us. things got a little bumpy towards the end but he made it happen. if you are looking into buying a house Carlos is your guy....

The refinancing process is confusing and opaque. Costs changed suddenly and without warning, and there was no consideration as to whether or not we'd made a monthly payment before various fees were calculated.
