Emma was a pleasure to work with and the thoughts expressed below have nothing to do with her specifically! The rates that we were able to qualify for and lock in were only average. With the size and clout of NAF, I find that interesting. Credit Unions seemed to have some very competitive rates, which is likely what we'll refinance with down the road.

I would appreciate better communication throughout, so I knew what to expect. Also, I didn’t realize that I would have such a huge penalty for paying my previous HELOC. I still have not received my funds from closing and it has been over a week. I understand that this part was not related to my loan officer but it is still very disappointing. I felt the time frame from start to finish was too long for a HELOC.
