Everything with Ben was great until the closing. New American Funding needs to work on their closing process. We never received any of the closing documents to review before closing, and it turns out there was indeed a mistake. We sat with a Notary who had no control over the paperwork, and we then had to scramble to find someone at New American Funding still in the office available to assist us on a Friday at 5pm. Then came the snafu of the wire transfer of the cash out funds. That process also needs improvement, some sort of checks and balances in place. Took us a week and a half to get our money due to their mistakes. Really Ben was easy to work with, understood our situation, answered our questions, but the closing mishap, and the wire transfer mishap puts a black eye on the whole process. Overall I would recommend New American Funding, but would warn people of our issues at closing and after.

I would say the experience was "Good" not Great or just Okay. I had no issues with Jessica. She was always available to accept a call and was positive throughout the purchase of the home. I do feel there was too much redundancy when it came to confirming job status even up to the last day. Certain expectations should have been set up from the start as to the entire process.

My experience could have been better, I was actually out of Florida, but signing the documentation for errors so many times, it caused me a lot of stress and lost time, I have closed the purchase of the house more than a week ago and still not I get the paperwork, this worries me too much.
