Ray was quick to answer any questions we had during the loan process and communication with him was always clear!

Underwriting process was very lenghty and for no reason. Communication from that department was really not great.

Although I wish some information would have been given at the beginning of this process, overall it went good and Cathy was there through it all.

Wes was fantastic. He always answered the phone or returned our calls. He was so helpful and didn’t make us feel like a question was ridiculous or unwarranted. I will work with Wes again when it is time to refinance. However, my experience with Tori Harris was horrible. She never answered the phone or retuned a call. She deliberately held up the loan process and was extremely rude to us, my realtor, and my escrow officer. She asked for things she already had. If she didn’t know what she was doing and she’s leaning, that’s fine but treating people like they do not matter during an emotional and stressful purchases is inexcusable. She needs training in customer service skills. If she is overworked, then more loan processors need to be added to alleviate the work load. Especially in this market. I will never get a new home loan from New American again. I will work with my local bank who know how to talk to people and understand how it works in Amarillo. If she acted this way here, no one would want to work with her. She is lucky she works for a large company.
