I had a good experience with Vincent Berube. I actually chose to work with Vincent as I felt we had good /clear communication. My dissatisfaction occurred after I agreed to proceed with New American Funding and ended up working mostly with Sarah Williams, loan processor. My general opinion is that Sarah has poor follow-through. She did provide responses to questions I sent via email. Particularly annoying and extremely inconvenient is the fact that she did not perform employment verification until it was too late! She sent me an email on Monday around noon informing me that she needed a contact person at my company’s Human Resources so that she may verify employment before Friday’s closing date. Please keep in mind that she had me write an explanation for employment gap at least 2 weeks prior to that. (So I had to provide an explanation for employment gap but you didn’t bother to check and see that I’m employed then remembered you have to do the verification but realized it was too late to go about it the usual way AND had to have me contact HR to get someone to do it as favor. ) I am extremely upset by this inconvenience.
