If you actually kept my rate adjustable to the lowest rate available during the lock period and up to closing. Had I wanted to go thru the extra effort, I could have switched mortgage provider and gotten my actual rate down without points but 0.25 %. I felt like I was told that my rate would adjust if rates went lower. I had to call and threaten to take my business somewhere else in order for you all to take the actual steps to lower my rate. It was very frustrating and felt dishonest. I’m giving you a better review than you deserve because I liked Jodie and she worked hard for me. I think the company made it hard her to actually get me the best rate. I would actually recommend to anyone that they shop around and attempt to have more than one mortgage company lined up to make sure you don’t get misled and having to pay for it. while walk away with the extra money from the lower rate you were actually able to get and didn’t pass thru. The whole thing seemed openly misleading. During the two weeks leading up to closing, rates definitely dropped. I should have had an actual rate with 3.5 with no points. I ended up with 3.625 with points. I don’t think this was Jodie’s fault. Would recommend Jodie. Would advise people to be wary of Castle and Cooke and be prepared to walk away from you during the process.
