Bottom line - it took too long. I understand that some of this was beyond NAF's control, but some of it was not. An example of an avoidable delay involved safety rails that I was asked to install. I received an email from my processor on a Sunday advising me that I needed to install rails. No problem. Drove an hour, bought some, came home, installed them, and sent a photo to the processor the same day. I was not told that the appraiser would need to come back to take photos, and removed the rails, one at a time for painting. During that time, the appraiser came out and took a photo that showed only one rail in place. I didn't know there was a problem until the following Friday, so that cost me a week of 26% interest when a simple message ("appraiser will take photos") could have prevented this loss. Further, I asked if there were any specific instructions that the lender required for the rails and was told "Nope.", which turned out to be not the case at all. This was just an example and was most definitely not the only thing that could have been handled better on the part of the processor. The one thing that was nothing short of a godsend was that I got the cash back to me a day earlier than projected. No need to go into the details, but that one thing that went my way prevented a complete disaster on my end.

Everything was great but the only downfall was having to mail checks to our creditors. The checks were based on 30 days or more balance so just wondering how and how long it will take to get refunded from creditors. All checks were over amount we actually owe.
