I think going thru the process over the phone rather than locally is harder to do. It prolongs the process. Also, after Hurricane Irma hit, it would have been easily to find out there was no damage in my town. All the paperwork was signed, funding was approved but held up until an appraiser had to go back and check the house. It took a week since the appraiser was busy with real problems. I will tell you that Linsey Lin, a processor was fabulous during the whole process.
