The loan papers stated Dec 23, a Friday, as the disbursement day. The notary indicated I could expect to receive the wired transfer Fri a.m. When I did not receive it, anytime that day, I tried emailing, but the entire office seemed to be already gone for Christmas. I heard back from Jeff on Tuesday morning (Dec 27) and received the funds Wed. I don't care so much about WHEN they were disbursed, as that the communication around that, to me, was conflicting and unclear.

I was his existing customer and he gave me the best rate. He was great at educating me about my loan , so I decided to stay with New American Funding. I provided all documents he and his team requested almost immediately. However, my closing appointment had to be moved because something in my my loan documentation was not ready when it was supposed to, even though I proactively followed up to ensure we were on track, so I think there are opportunities there.
