The process was easy. The New American team did all the research and processing. All we had to do is sign the documents. Melanie also provided periodic progress reports on the status of the loan.

I had no issues with the staff at NAF that I dealt with (Lu and Katherine) - they were timely, helpful and on stayed on top of everything. My issues had to do with a) Some of the requests we received for documents or data appeared excessive (divorce decree from 1986!?) b) Process too long: 10 weeks (from 7/22 to 9/30); in 2014 we did it in 5 weeks with Quicken; c) provide punch list to client up front identifying primary documents required and when.
