The process began well but as it progressed communication became less frequent. I will say if I contacted them they always responded, but I would have been more satisfied if they had kept in touch without my calling or texting them. In all fairness I believe it was underwriting and funding that caused the delays. IAs a customer I would have appreciated a weekly update even if it was, it’s still with underwriting or with whom ever versus no communication. Debbie was wonderful to work with.

More communication from our loan officer Jeff. I mainly communicated to Echo after Jeff had the initial application and documents completed. 98% of communication was initiated by me.

Comparing to my previous lenders I found a good deal with NAF but it came at some added costs, 1. Closing costs were high compared to my previous lenders 2. The complete process was very time consuming 3. There were multiple parties involved asking for information through phone calls and emails. 4. There was no single point point of contact for all the information exchanges.

Alex was very helpful and knowledgeable during the purchase of our new home; however his staff did not appear to be very organized, as they kept requesting the same documents from us over and over again, and asking the same questions as well. I was also disappointed that I had to request documents that should have automatically been available to me for my review, some that I never received.

I could Patrick to be a fine loan officer. New American makes a more difficult transaction normally asking for extra things that exert the buyers circumstances.
