while the overall refi took a bit longer than expected it all went pretty smoothly. I have friends trying to refi, even with their own banks, and are having poor experiences. I realize that the whole refi industry is overwhelmed right now, My own bank(Wells) basically told us they were so swamped they couldn't do it now. So considering all this, my experience was pretty darn good.

Michael is wonderful and was the thread holding my entire experience together. Multiple times I wanted to simply quit the process with New American but stayed because Michael not only put forth extreme effort in correcting others' mistakes, but managed to smooth the process to a reasonable level of stress.
