The process initially was more than awful. I almost lost my future house to terrible customer service and a lack of action by the other loan officer, presumably in an attempt to raise their profits on the mortgage sale by waiting for interest rates to rise. It worked, higher rates translates to $600 more per month in payments. Hooray. Luckily, Dan White took over at the last minute. He was professional and expedient and got the job done. Overall the DK mortgage experience was awful. It was last minute and switching lenders was not an option. Dan was good though and cleaned up the mess as best he could
