My experience was much better than OK, but not at the top, meaning "Great." There was a mistake make in the initial CD that made me cautious. Compared to other experiences I've had, the communications wasn't as clear as they could have been. I appreciate refinancing at a lower rate -- but I did have to keep pursuing questions to get answers I could understand. Yes, I would recommend New American financing, but encourage new customers to be vigilant in checking documents.

Several things happened...we did not close on time, a day late. Appraisal was not sent to ,me in a timely fashion. Did not know the VA predications until the 11th hour and trying to get the appraiser back to OK
