The process took to long. The terms of the loan kept changing due to the appraisal value being lower than expected and the underwriter were not flexible and skilled enough to do their job adequately. I’m disappointed with the process and will not be using New American Funding in the future

Jerry is a nice person, but he overlooked an important detail in our contract that set our moving date back several days. Also, as just a general observation/recommendation - Jerry talks too much. He seems to be more concerned with being 'heard' than listening. Effective communication is about providing the right amount of information, at the right time, to the right audience. More is not always better.

There was a major contractual hiccup after we signed our closing which should have been caught weeks beforehand (we even had a super-long closing, 4 weeks). It caused us to miss our entire weekend which we were supposed to be moving, as the wire transfer was delayed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning and we could not take possession of the house. I understand everybody makes mistakes but some are unacceptable when it is your job to catch these things.

The experience was great through the process, I completed surveys at the time and said that. Unfortunately I am getting overloaded with spam requests to take more surveys. This is months after closing and after already completing multiple positive surveys.
