Kristen was fantastic. I never met my second processor Peyton. The first processor, MIKE HAMOOD made this experience unbearable, horrendous, and the worst experience of my life. He was consistently 5 steps behind everyone else, asked for documents that were in our file from the beginning, and never had accurate information to provide. My closing date was delayed thrice because none of our documents were ever reviewed or up to date, even down to an income verification that had to be completed the week of closing instead of it being one of the first things completed. Kristen did everything she could as a loan officer, bit unfortunately she was not a processor and could not follow through in meaningful enough ways based on her role. (To my knowledge, I could be wrong). To be frank, NAF made this process incredibly unpleasant for everyone involved. The realtors, the seller, and us as the buyers. And I struggle to understand why we were paired with a NAF team that was NOT local to us when there is a local office to us. According to everyone local, the local NAF office is incredible but we got stuck with people on opposite time zones which caused various delays through out this process due to time zone issues. On top of the delays and other issues which almost caused my family and I to be homeless, there was an immense lack of communication from NAF to anyone including the title office to to gather documents in a timely manner. Many documents were submitted 3-5 times due to the lack of organization and communication from the NAF team.

Working with Jeff was a smooth and positive experience from start to finish. The team’s communication was consistent, clear, and always friendly — I always felt informed and supported throughout the mortgage process. Their online tools made it easy to upload documents, track progress, and understand what steps were next, which helped reduce a lot of the usual stress that comes with buying or refinancing a home. One area for improvement would be around how communication is documented. While text messages were convenient for quick updates, I found that some details could get lost when important decisions or clarifications were discussed that way. Using email for those types of conversations would help ensure there’s a clear written record and minimize the chance of missing important details later on. Overall, I highly recommend jeff for his professionalism, friendly service, and the ease of their process. I’d gladly work with them again.
