I would have liked to known when changes were made in reference to creditors being paid. Chris did explain the reasoning, but since it was a change, I should have been notified. Hazel actually made me feel uneasy. If my initial interactions had not been with Chris, I’m sure I would have gone with another company.

Overall, it was a very smooth process. Jeff and Alyssa were responsive, and easy to work with. I only had one issue. The fact that the entire down payment gifted from my parents ($60,000) had to be wired to the title company, and then the amount over the actual cash needed to close would be refunded at closing, should have been made clear to me weeks ago. Since I wasn't aware of this, I assumed that I could simply pay the exact amount at closing, so I had already transferred the money into my personal account for the purpose of getting a cashier's check. To be clear, I have no problem with your rules, I just wish I knew this earlier. It would have save a lot of last minute stress and scrambling around the day before closing. Anyway, all's well that ends well, water under the bridge now...
