The process of acquiring my cash out refinance took 5-6 months to complete. It was brought to my attention that the original loan officer was not performing as expected in order to successfully complete the process. Luckily, Scott Sheedy jumped in and took the time and attention required to finish the process in about 2 weeks. Suggestions: Transparency upfront as well as some type of documentation/notifications early on and throughout the process to keep the borrower and lender accountable on action items/steps. Of course there can be caveats to the process. Nonetheless, roadmaps should be available when there is a shift so the borrower can better a***** and navigate a situation.
