This is a poorly structured survery. I enjoyed working with Doris Smith, but your underwriter and title company are out of control. It's because of the underwrite and title company that I wouldn't recommend New American Funding. I did notice that they never offered their names and/or contact info. That is, why hide if your position is correct?

There were many last minute changes to our whole process that was extremely stressful, changing closing dates multiple times. My Processor and Sr officer were very good at talking with me, and I believe they did all they could to help. But the underwriting process and last minute finds was a terrible experience. Things that should have been noticed from the start seemed to have come up at the end of the process instead causing delays and significant stress. Some of the issues maybe came from the fill in person while my Sr officer was on vacation so lack of knowledge of the situation maybe, I am unusre. Both my fiance and my previous mortgage have been with NAF and we have refinanced with NAF and all 4 times was a great experience, so this one was a very disapointing experience with NAF. My Sr Officer and Processor were very good to work with, just NAF's underwriting made this a not great experience.
