I would highly recommend Bernie. I've used him twice for refinance on different homes. He does what he says he's going to do, which is vital when doing loans.

I originally worked with Sunny when he was with KB Homes; he helped us wrench our loan away from a horrible lender who was not going to be able to close in time for us to move into the new property, and even helped us save money in the process!<br/><br/>Fast forward two years later, and my family has gone back to Sunny to help my brother purchase a property, my parents purchase a property, and my wife and I refinance our property. He has spent hours on the phone with me making sure that I understand the whole process, and gives advice on a personal level to make sure that you are making the best decision regardless of the outcome for his business.<br/><br/>The proof of his goodwill: after spending all that time advising me and my family, he ended up walking away from money by referring us elsewhere for two of the three loans that I mentioned above. Also, my parents ended up purchasing outside of his licensed territory, but he still spent time advising them of what they should look for with financing in their area. After relocating to Washington state and looking to purchase a home, a work associate put me in touch with Steve Lawson of New American Funding, to help me with the financial process. I was unfamiliar with this state's particulars regarding purchasing a home. During our first telephone conversation, Steve listened to everything I needed and what I wanted as well. He also picked up on my frustration with a relator I had been working with. I told him I was going to throw in the towel and rent. He was very patient and said that he totally understood and gently pointed out a few things to consider but didn't try to talk me out of renting. He made me feel he truly cared about me as an individual and not just my business. He offered to put me in contact with a different realtor and she ended up being fabulous. Being from the east coast, I can be high maintenance and expect timely responses. Steve goes above and beyond in providing the timeliest customer service. After closing, I still go to Steve to ask questions on taxes, Washington laws, advice, etc. and he responds immediately and is always so helpful. He recently walked me through another unexpected closing and was there for me step by step until completed. He doesn't hesitate to take a call on the weekends and to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Every one of his emails always say "call me with questions anytime!" and he really means it. I highly recommend Steve Lawson and can ensure you that you will not only get sound financial advise and knowledge, but you will get someone that will care about you as a person as well.

Sunny helped us secure our mortgage for our first home as a young married couple a couple years back. I can't express how pleased we were with his personable and committed service! He was very professional and friendly - it didn't feel like it was all business, as we've experienced with other agents. He dedicated the time to not just get us the best deal, but to make sure we understood all that we wanted to know. What really knocked our socks off was when we were just about to close, he took the initiative to check our credit scores one more time, to ensure we were getting the best rate, and found that my score had increased a couple points.
