I would strongly recommend Rick to anyone who is looking at their refinancing options. While I decided on a HELOC instead of a refi, Rick was great to work with throughout the process. He was always honest and most importantly was flexible. We always found a way to touch base either via e-mail or phone calls after normal business hours. Definitely someone I would use in the future.

Upfront I was looking for a great rate & First Mortgage was one of the best deals. Ahead of the process I was willing to give on experience for the rate and lowest fees but Rick and Amanda and First Mortgage hit a home run. The First Mortgage team was extremely responsive, document coordination was a breeze and closed on time with no stress. by far the best mortgage experience I've had. The team went above and beyond and were experts in their field.

I was looking for a loan to purchase, just as rates were starting to creep up. I spoke with three local lenders who all came in at 4.8% so I assumed that’s what I was stuck with. I had resolved that I was most likely going to be forced to buy the rate down to get my desired payment. Then I spoke to Rick at First Line and received a rate of 3.75% with no points!!! It was a no brainer at that point and they were extremely easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them!

The first time I talked to Rick I told him that I had already been pre-approved by another Lender and that I was just getting a comparative quote. However, the interest rate Rick quoted me was 3/4% less than his competitor and would save me over $46,000 during the 30 yr loan. Rick helped me purchase a multi-family home with FHA financing. We had many hurdles to overcome, the appraisal came in low, we had to file an appeal, things needed fixed on the home to meet FHA requirements and we had to renegotiate the price with the seller. This was not an easy loan to get processed and approved; however, Rick was there to help every step of the way. If I could give him 10 Stars I would.

Overall I had a very positive experience with First Mortgage Direct. Fiund them via a zillow search and the rates were a half point lower than the bigger companies. Closed in under 30 days. No problems at all. Rick answered all my questions and was very helpful. Easy and saved money. Highly recommend.
