My sister Valerie & I were both looking for a home when we met Ms. Patricia Chaffin of New American Funding through a realtor (that happens to be from the same country we emigrated from, & was recommended by our cousin). While we ultimately opted not to work with this realtor because we didn’t feel that she was able to do her job well, my sister & I decided that we wanted to keep Patricia as our loan officer because she was professional, thorough & always encouraged open communication, even after tragedy, sadly, struck her family. Patricia was professional, thorough, & my sister & I loved working with her because she showed genuine concern for us. She advised us accordingly every time anything was unclear, which was quite often since we were first time home buyers in the US. When my husband & I decided we liked a house, Patricia provided our realtor the document we needed to make an offer, after work hours. Some people just do their job; we felt that Patricia went above & beyond. Case in point: my sister is neither an immigrant nor a citizen. As a business visa holder, she worried day & night that the loan would fall through because of her atypical status. What Patricia did was make it her own mission to increase my sister’s loan amount from around $170k to $220k, & fought for the loan to go through (it wasn't smooth sailing by any means). And she succeeded. Now I have my home, & my sister’s is just the next street over -- it’s an Asian family thing, hehe. Thank you, Patricia. You’re the best :)

We bought our home two years ago and Heather and staff made the process simple. They were very thorough and all transactions were outlined with a timeline. Everything ocurred exactly per schedule. No glitches and no surprises.

Heather was excellent to deal with. She walked us through the process, and explained each step as we went. When we had questions, she was quick to respond. We had used a different lender previously and had interviewed different lenders this time. Heather stood out in the first 5 minutes of a phone conversation than any of the others as being very knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family!!
