I worked most directly with Tom Ninness at New American Funding. It was the first time I had bought a house, so I was pretty nervous. I had an idea of what to expect but, I still had a lot of questions on the specifics of the loan process. Tom was more than helpful, and very available to field any questions I had from the initial pre-approval to the closing date. The communication with everyone I had at New American Funding was great. We were able to close really quickly and it helped us get our first home. Thanks to the team I worked with at New American Funding, getting a mortgage didn't feel like a business transaction at all. It felt much more like a group of friends helping me purchase a home, and I really appreciated that. I would not hesitate to recommend this company in the future. Great Experience! My husband and I originally started our loan process through a bank we used on our first home. The process was long and drawn out and our closing date kept getting pushed back. My realtor connected me with Zack and I'm truly sorry I didn't switch sooner!! The communication was awesome with the entire team and they were fast and efficient. Zack even came to my signing! what other company does that? None that I know of. If you're looking for a mortgage loan that actually appreciates you, and moves quickly while keeping you informed, Zack Duncan is the way to go!

I worked with Zack and Michael who were extremely helpful. As a single person who works full time they were able to work around my schedule, get me a great rate, and close quickly despite my limited budget and out of the box financial situation when it came to down payment. I'd called local banks and credit unions before being referred to New American and no one was as helpful or had a better rate than Zack and Michael were able to provide! They were able to qualify me for more and get me a lower rate than anyone else I spoke with. As a single 20 something who works in the nonprofit world, I didn't think becoming a homeowner in the competitive Portland market would be possible but Zack and Michael made it happen!
